“The Legend of the White Snake – Lingzhi Salvation”
The monk Fahai regards Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing as demons and thus destroys the relationship between Xu Xian and Bai Suzhen several times. Xu Xian was persuaded by Fahai and thus asks his wife, Bai Suzhen to drink realgar wine during the Dragon Boat Festival. After drinking the wine, Bai Suzhen changes back to her original form as a white snake because she couldn’t stand the stimulation of realgar wine. Xu Xian later bumps into his wife and finds out that she is actually a snake. He is then scared to death and faint. In order to save her beloved husband, Bai Suzhen risks going to Kunlun Immortal Mountain to steal Lingzhi grass, the legenary cure-all. Can she retrieve it and return safe and sound?
